► JOB OPENING - PART TIME VAN DRIVER (CENTRAL KITCHEN)

Southwest Human Resource Agency is accepting applications for Central Kitchen Van Drivers.
Location of employment is Southwest HRA Nutrition Services/Central Kitchen at 992 W. Main Street, Henderson, TN.   
Positions will require stooping, reaching, and lifting up to 100 lbs.
Applicants must have good customer service skills and a clean driving record.
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age with 2 years of safe, unrestricted driving experience and have a Class D driver’s license.

Positions are part-time (up to 29 hrs. per week) with no benefits.  Entry level pay rate is $9.50 per hour.

► JOB OPENING - NUTRITION SITE MANAGER (COVINGTON)
COVINGTON HOME DELIVERED NUTRITION SITE MANAGER
 
Work Schedule:
8 - 12 Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday
8 - 11 Thursday and Friday for this position

Reports to: Nutrition Program Coordinator, Dianne Reeves
Objective: To manage and supervise the Home Delivered and Choices Meals programs at the Nutrition Site Location.

Specific Duties Include:
 
Counting home delivered meals upon arrival at the Center to ensure order is correct.
Load up all home delivered meals and begin your route.
Mileage is allowed for site manager for Choices and Options meals at .30 cents per mile. These mileage sheets are turned in at the end of each month.

Perform all record keeping related to the Nutrition Program, i.e., documenting temperatures on test meal day Home Delivered and Choices Authorizations and PCSP (Person Centered Support Plan), Volunteer-In-kind Vouchers for Home delivered volunteers, Status Sheets, Missed Visit Sheets, Critical Incident Forms, Nutrition Education for Home Delivered meal clients, Homebound Termination Lists, Mileage Sheets, Choices and Home Delivered Route Sheets.
Status sheets and Missed visit reports are to be sent immediately.
 
Recruit an adequate Volunteer staff that will assist with meal delivery. You must have back up in the event of your absence.
Maintain volunteer personnel folders to include recruitment sheet, job description, background checks, training schedule, evaluation and recognition and other documentation as required.
Maintain up-to date PCSP (Person Centered Support Plan) for Choices and Authorizations, re­ authorizations, and termination forms on all homebound clients.
Provide Nutrition Education once a month to Home Delivered clients at the beginning of each month.
In the event your route is complete and you have additional work time that day, you may assist the Congregate Site Manager with her duties. Do not work past your allotted hours.

Salary:  Based on education (Minimum salary $12.25 per hr.)
 
Job Duties Include:  Carry out a program of instruction ensuring program policies and procedures are being met for a pre-school classroom of up to 20 children, supervise an Assistant Teacher, make home visits, encourage parent involvement, and work closely with other staff concerning enrollment and meeting the needs of families.
 
Basic Qualifications:   Applicant must possess an AA or higher degree in Early Childhood Education or related field with 18 credit hours of Early Childhood Education.  Applicant should also possess good written, verbal, and computer skills.  Experience and/or training in working with pre-school children is desired. Must pass physical exam, TB screening, drug screen, and criminal/fingerprint background check.

FISCAL DIRECTOR
Position Qualifications:  Thorough knowledge of standard accounting practices and procedures pertaining to accounts payable, accounts receivable, internal controls, cost accounting, and financial analysis; knowledge of OMB Circulars A-133 & A-122 pertaining to the financial reporting requirements for non-profit agencies; working knowledge of computer database applications including spreadsheet applications and database management; knowledge of federal and state regulations pertaining to auditing and disclosure requirements; working knowledge of fixed assets, inventory maintenance, and depreciation and amortization schedules; knowledge of state regulations, grant stipulations and reporting requirements pertaining to non-profit managed programs; supervisory experience, excellent written and verbal communication skills and excellent customer service skills.   Applicant must also have strong organizational, interpersonal and decision making skills. 
   
Requirement: Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Financial Management, or closely related field and considerable experience in corporate accounting and computerized accounting systems; experience monitoring contract provisions and budgets and supervisory experience.

FOSTER GRANDPARENT VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
 
PURPOSE:
To provide volunteer opportunities for low income persons, age 55 or older, to create support services for children with special & exceptional needs.
 
ELIGIBILITY:
  1. Men & women must be age 55 or older
  2. Applicants must meet Federal Income Guidelines.
  3. Must pass a fingerprint FBI Background check, as well as other criminal background checks.
  4. Applicants must be physically fit & mentally able to serve at least five days per week.
  5. Applicants must have a desire to learn about the needs of children served and want to help with a child’s individual growth & development. 
BENEFITS OF FOSTER GRANDPARENTS:
  1. Stipend payment of at least $106.00 every two weeks ($ 2.65 per hr.).  This money does not affect any Social Security, SSI, rent or other benefits already received.
  2. Transportation is provided free of charge.
  3. Grandparents receive a free hot meal if they work through meal time.
  4. Insurance is provided during travel and work time.
  5. Orientation is provided before a Grandparent begins work.
  6. This is a wonderful opportunity to associate with other seniors and to have children to love and who will love you in return.
