Job Duties Include:  Assist Head Start Teacher in carrying out a program of instruction for a pre-school classroom of up to 20 children, serve as teacher in absence of regular Teacher, make home visits, encourage parent involvement, and work with other staff concerning enrollment and meeting the needs of families.

Basic Qualifications:  High School Diploma or GED required; a Child Development Associate Credential preferred; Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred: experience/training in working with preschool children desired; must be willing to continue education.  Basic computer knowledge. Must pass physical exam, drug screen, and criminal/fingerprint background check.

This is a full-time position which reports directly to the Head Start Director.

Position Qualifications:  Requires thorough knowledge of the federal regulations pertaining to the Head Start Program, extensive knowledge in supervising and directing Social Services activities of a large Early Childhood program. Excellent organizational, interpersonal and decision-making capabilities, ability to implement effective programmatic policies and procedures that ensure compliance with governing regulations, considerable experience supervising a large staff of professional and para-professional employees. Strong written, verbal and computer skills required.

Education Requirement:  Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a B.A. (B.S.) Degree in Social Work, Early Childhood Education, Business Administration or closely related field.

Salary range – $ 43,543 per year

Central Kitchen Van Drivers

Southwest Human Resource Agency is accepting applications for Central Kitchen Van Drivers.
Worksite is located at 992 W. Main Street, Henderson, TN.

This position is tasked with loading cargo vans and delivering meals and supplies to various sites and locations throughout the Southwest HRA service area.

Van Driver – Both full-time and part-time positions are available.  Positions will require stooping, reaching, lifting, and carrying up to 100 lbs. Applicants must be dependable and have a clean driving record.  Applicants must be at least 18 years of age with 2 years of safe, unrestricted driving experience and have a Class D driver’s license.

Full-time positions are 40 hrs. per week with excellent benefits.  Part-time positions are up to 29 hrs. per week with no benefits.
